There seems to be a problem with MXI File Creator and the latest Flash Player (v9).
When running the program, you may get the following error:"MXI Creator.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry
for the inconvenience."My guess is it's a bug/issue between Flash Player and Screenweaver MX.
To resolve this, try the following update (requires v3 to be installed):

It's here :-) version 3, which now let's you specify a File Package for use with MX 2004 Components, Class files, etc..
Added support for the new MX2004 extension types (Behaviors, Commands, etc..) and file types (.swc, .jsfl, etc..)
Also added the ability to include a License Agreement, which can be added manually or imported from a text file.

A new version (2.1.0) is available on the download page, which has a few minor changes.
- Fixed a problem when editing an existing .mxi file that was not created with the MXI file creator and had "source" attributes in the "file" element, instead of the expected "name" attribute.
- Fixed a problem when editing an existing .mxi file that had uppercase <BR> html tags in the Description or UI-Access tags.
Those are now also replaced with line breaks, as was already the case with lowercase <br> tags, and correctly displayed in the application.
Note that .mxi files originally created with the MXI Creator were not affected and if you don't plan on editing existing .mxi files (that were not created with the MXI Creator in the first place), there's no real need to upgrade.
If you have problems editing .mxi files that were not created with the MXI Creator, contact me, and I'll see if I can fix it.

Version 2.0.0 has been released and is available on the download page.
This version comes with an installer and will add a shortcut to the application on your desktop and in the Start menu.
